I bought the 12 Minute Affiliate program and in this review would like to share what I saw inside it which ultimately made me leave (3 reasons actually). In short, this review of 12 Minute Affiliate is going to show you the following things:
- What the program is (how it works).
- The pros and cons.
- My personal experiences there.
- Why I don’t recommend it (3 reasons).
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a FAR BETTER option, but more on that later):
The quick overview:
- Name: 12 Minute Affiliate.
- Owner: Devon Brown.
- Pricing: $9.95 for 14 days, and upsells which can reach up to $1,000s.
- What do you learn? Promoting affiliate offers via done for you methods.
- Does it work? It’s possible, but I’m very doubtful (You’ll see why).
- Is it a scam? No, but it has numerous cons in my opinion.
- Rating: 15 out of 100 points
Do I recommend it? No (unfortunately).
12 Minute Affiliate is built as an easy to use system (and it actually is), but that’s for initial stuff and there’s a double edged sword in that it’s easy to set up, but super hard in my opinion to succeed with. Here’s what I mean:
In practicality (which is what really counts), there’s:
- Major holes in that there isn’t enough fundamental training for beginners.
- Huge sums of money you may need to spend to try it out fully as intended (literally up to $1,000s) and especially in my opinion if you’re a beginner and have no clue about how to do it yourself).
I can’t recommend this program on these (and other major reasons I’ll be explaining below).
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to the 12 Minute Affiliate review:
Summary of the program:
12 Minute Affiliate is a “done for you” affiliate marketing system that helps you set up affiliate links and promote popular Clickbank products.
You can purchase traffic straight from the 12 Minute Affiliate program and send it to your promotional landing pages.
Then you can collect an email list and send out done for you email swipes to your list to engage them in buying your Clickbank promotions.
Nearly the entire process is easy to set up (but in my opinion has many holes at the same time).
Pros:
- Surprisingly, it is an easy to use/set up system.
Cons:
- My customer service experience with them was horrible (proof coming up).
- The “easy” and “done for you” set up process is like a two sided coin and I see many problems with it.
- You may need to spend ridiculously large sums of money to get this program to work for you.
- I personally think using their paid traffic service is risky, expensive and there’s better/cheaper options for traffic.
The 3 reasons I don’t recommend 12 Minute Affiliate:
1) My customer service experience with 12 Minute Affiliate was very poor (screenshot proof):
I tried to cancel and refund my purchase. But then something happened that I have NEVER experienced before with a vendor:
My ticket request for that was closed without any support whatsoever. To get my cancellation, I had to escalate my ticket to Clickbank’s higher up areas to actually get it.
2) “Easy” and “done for you” is a double edged thing:
I’m always careful about “done for you” and talks of “easy to use”. Why?
Because in my professional experience, there’s always something more and in this case, YES the program is easy to set up, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to make money with.
With this program you are making easy funnels, but honestly, in my opinion, they lack proper fundamental affiliate marketing sales training (like how to drive traffic and make relevant sales funnels) and if you’re new, in my opinion I don’t believe using this easy system is enough to make you money.
But they have that covered, or so it seems. How you ask? But offering to do the traffic generation for you. Except, it isn’t free. In fact, it’s VERY expensive. Thus we have problem #3:
3) The traffic packages are seriously expensive and lack enough info for me to trust them:
The basic concept of this program is:
- Set up the easy affiliate sales funnel.
- And then buy their traffic packages to send to the pages you made, then make money (at least that’s how I saw it).
But as an expert in this (traffic generation), I saw nothing in the offers about it being reliable traffic. I mean they say it’s good, but I need more than just claims.
Plus the prices, my goodness! I would never pay so much for this stuff, especially when there’s so little info on it. It can be up to $1,000s!
That’s crazy to someone like me and yes you can elect to find other ways to promote the offers, but if you’re completely new, clueless on traffic generation, what other option is there? This is where that problem of not having enough good fundamental education on doing it yourself can cause problems (just because they do it for you doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed, or cheap in this case).
My final thoughts:
I do think 12 Minute Affiliate is well intended and not a scam, but for me, the mix of bad customer service, the holes in the done for you system and the highly expensive paid traffic methods (I can get targeted traffic for much less) all gives me enough pause and reluctance in recommending the program.
Overall, I do not recommend this program, whether for beginners or advanced affiliate marketers. If this ever changes, I’m more than happy to revisit the program and update this review. Now this is my opinion and it’s your money, so you do what you want with that.
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate is also an affiliate marketing program, but there’s major advantages it has.
Here’s why it’s better than 12 Minute Affiliate in my opinion:

- It’s more beginner friendly.

- You get that fundamental training you need to succeed.

Bottom line: Wealthy Affiliate gives you the fundamental training and tools to succeed.
It’s not a done for you program like 12 Minute Affiliate, but you SAVE tons of money with Wealthy Affiliate because they teach you to properly do this yourself.
You can’t just rely on done for you programs when you’re a total beginner and expect to make easy money. This business requires work and time, and when you accept that and follow a good blueprint, you will succeed.
Hence, Wealthy Affiliate. I’m one of their top success stories and so I know this works and it’s a much better way to go in my opinion vs spending up to $1,000’s on traffic from 12 Minute Affiliate, hoping to make sales (I personally would never risk doing this and would rely on my own skills Wealthy Affiliate gave me).
