Remote Closing Academy – Is it a Scam or The Real Deal?

In this Remote Closing Academy post, I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:

  1. If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
  2. How it really works.
  3. The pros and cons.
  4. How much you can expect to spend if you buy it (it isn’t cheap).
  5. And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).

The quick overview:

  • Name: Remote Closing Academy (RCA).
  • Owner: Cole Gordon.
  • Pricing: Several sources say $8,000+.
  • What is RCA? A program that teaches you how to sell high ticket programs via remote work (phone) and earn sales from it.
  • Is it a scam? No, it’s legit.
  • Rating: 40 out of 100 points.

Do I recommend Remote Closing Academy? Not really:

There is a lot of legitimacy to the program and doing phone selling of this nature and while I strongly believe in Cole and his program, there are 2 main problems I find:

1) I think there are better ways to earn a living than selling high ticket programs in my opinion (especially if it’s questionable programs that I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable trying to sell to others).

2) The price of this course (according to several sources) is ridiculously high in my opinion ($8,000+). The program is definitely valuable but if it were A LOT cheaper, I would happily recommend it more and you can honestly find free info on this subject in places like YouTube.

I’m experienced in this matter because I do similar work (selling affiliate products) and I’ll talk about this more later.

Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).

Back to the Remote Closing Academy review:

Summary of the program:

Remote Closing Academy is a program focused on helping people become sellers of high ticket programs and services, but doing it via remotely through their phone (somewhat like telemarketing).

There are many people and companies that have high ticket services and programs (see examples) and in order to do that, they need experienced/good sellers to do that for them (phone consultants/sellers).

Cole Gordon himself is an experienced individual on this subject and his training helps you become a valuable seller/asset to these businesses.

How does the RCA program work?

Basically you will first learn how the business works, then be provided with training and tools to practice in becoming a successful seller and then there will be opportunities for you to take calls from potential leads/buyers interested in a certain high ticket program/service which you will then be the “closer on” in that you will basically be selling it to them via a phone call.

If a sale is successfully made, you can earn huge commissions from every single sale (it varies according to which program you are helping sell). It’s not out of the ordinary to earn $1,000+ per sale.

Pros:

  1. Good Trustpilot reviews (4.7 out of 5 with 300+ reviews).
  2. Good support, training and help provided.
  3. In my opinion the training on such a subject is valuable.
  4. There are success stories with RCA.
  5. They do also help you get gigs for this.
  6. The program is in my opinion legitimate.

Cons:

  1. Extremely expensive in my opinion at over $8,000 (source 1, source 2).
  2. Obviously no guarantees.
  3. In my opinion you can learn how to be a successful seller from cheap/free sources out there vs through RCA.
  4. I personally do not like the idea of promoting high ticket programs (some are very questionable out there).
  5. If you don’t see yourself working on the phone and convincing people to spend a lot of money, this may not be for you.
  6. In my opinion, if you are tight on money to begin with, RCA may not be for you either.

My final thoughts on Remote Closing Academy:

Like I said before, Cole knows his stuff and I am pretty confident in his program/training to help you become a successful closer. Keep in mind though that there is a HUGE price to pay at over $8,000 to learn this and this is also not a guarantee that you will succeed.

Another thing I personally am not comfortable is selling high ticket items in general. Yes there are many high ticket programs out there and a lot of potential money to be made but for me personally, I am not comfortable being a seller for something like this.

Throughout the years, I have seen so many programs of this nature out there and personally I think MOST of them are not good and/or are very questionable. If I were to ever have the choice to sell that, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it. Some people may not care and only want the commission, but I personally like to sell stuff I truly believe in (that isn’t outrageously expensive either).

As someone who technically does similar work in affiliate marketing where I write reviews on websites and make YouTube reviews promoting products, I can tell you that it’s not easy to sell stuff in general. Of course with practice, you will be more confident and raise your success rates, but overall as someone whose made $100,000’s literally from selling stuff online, I have a “bit” of authority on the topic myself.

Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) program is my top choice:

Wealthy Affiliate is the program that taught me how to succeed online at affiliate marketing and selling in general and I never had to pay tons of money to learn it either.

This program is actually risk free to test drive (one of it’s many benefits and advantages over RCA or any other opportunity out there).

How it works:

You learn how to build a profitable website in pretty much ANY topic you love in life and then make money from it through things like:

  • Affiliate marketing: Promoting other people’s products.
  • Other ways of earning: Running ads, promoting your own stuff,  etc…

Once the site is successful, it’s way more hands off and works for itself 24-7 (more convenient in my opinion than trying to close calls to earn money).

More reasons I think Wealthy Affiliate is better than Remote Closing Academy:

  1. Again, it’s risk free to test drive (no CC needed).
  2. It’s beginner friendly.
  3. Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
  4. It teaches more ways to succeed at remote/online business.
  5. It has more success stories than RCA.
  6. More/higher positive reviews on Truspilot (4.9 out of 5 stars).
  7. You also get excellent support/help/tools.
  8. More value for way less in my opinion.
  9. No phone selling required, you build an online business (you can work remotely too).
  10. And there’s much more.

Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online or in business, trust me on that).

It’s free to test drive and only $49/month if you decide to stick around the program. There is also an optional $99/month option which offers access to expert webinars/classes.

Here’s a side by side comparison of Wealthy Affiliate vs Remote Closing Academy:

My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):

  1. Join here (its free)
  2. Complete the set up process which has you create your first passion based website.
  3. Start your training

The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).

Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):

  • Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
  • 5 lesson getting started course.
  • 1 website included.
  • 7 day access to the WA community (help/support).
  • 7 days coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
  • And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).

The program does have an optional upgrade called Premium after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:

  • Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
  • Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
  • Use my 7 day coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.

Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.

It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.

And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
