Online Team Builders Review – Is it Legit or a Total Scam?

I looked into the Online Team Builders program and in this review want to cover what I discovered including:

1. If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
2. How it really works.
3. The pros and cons.
4. How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
5. And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).

The quick overview:

Name: Online Team Builders.
Owner: Based on research, Nancy Rote.
Pricing: $29.99/month (possibly more).
What do you learn? How to be a successful affiliate for an MLM called Essante Organics.
Is it a scam? No, I think it’s legitimate but there are elements to this program that are confusing in my opinion and I found a lot of mixed reviews on it.
Rating: 30 out of 100 points

Do I recommend Online Team Builders? No:

I do believe the Online Team Builders has value and can help you make money online, but there are several issues in my opinion:

The program is difficult to figure out (the official site for me was difficult to find, access and learn about).
The Essante Organics connection was also difficult to figure out.
Overall, I think this program works, but I wish it was way more clearer and transparent to figure out.

Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).

Summary of the program:

Based on what I researched (sources below), Online Team Builders appears to be a program associated with a major MLM company known as Essante Organics which sells health products.

Online Team Builders helps you build your own business through this program via offering business tools to do things like keep in touch with clients, emails and more.

I have read many reviews from people that one of the ways Online Team Builders promotes itself is by contacting perspective clients for a type of phone interview and getting them more aquainted with it that way, but that also gets a lot of mixed reviews (sources included below).

For costs, I only saw a price tag of $29.99 or $30 a month in some cases, but does that reflect upsells or possible purchases to be made through Essante Organics? That wasn’t clear to me.

Pros:

I do believe Online Team Builders is legitimate and have value.
I also believe Essante Organics is legitimate too.

Cons:

To me, it was a very confusing program to figure out (I wish it was way clearer).
I couldn’t find a Trustpilot or BBB page for Online Team Builders.
I am personally not a fan of anything MLM related (in my opinion there are better ways to make money online and from home).

My final thoughts Online Team Builders and better alternatives:

I am normally very cautious with any online opportunity and there are normally 3 things I look for in programs to see if fit “my standard”:

Is the program clear to understand? With Online Team Builders, it wasn’t, at least not in my opinion.
Is it transparent? Somewhat. I had to figure out the Essante Organics connection and I couldn’t find the main site to see this, and once I did, it’s not like it was a bad thing. It’s just that I wish this was easier to find.
Are the reviews mainly positive? In Online Team Builders case, it was very mixed.

My #1 recommendation however (Wealthy Affiliate) has very different answers to these same 3 questions:

Is the program clear to understand? Yes very.
Is it transparent? Extremely transparent program.
Are the reviews mainly positive? The overwhelming majority of reviews for Wealthy Affiliate are very positive (see below).
