Productized Profits Review – Is it Legit or a Total Scam?

This review of Productized Profits is going to explain what you need to know before you try it, including:

    1. If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
    2. How it really works.
    3. The pros and cons.
    4. How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
    5. And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).

The quick overview:

  • Name: Productized Profits
  • Owner: Lucas Lee Tyson
  • Pricing: $1,497 (potentially $1,000’s more later)
  • What do you learn? Multiple online business models including course creation. Productized Profits is also part of the larger Growth Cave program.
  • Is it a scam? No, but there are mixed reviews and the price of the program is a bit too high in my opinion.
  • Rating: 50 out of 100 points

Do I recommend Productized Profits? Somewhat:

I do believe that Productized Profits has good value and can teach you to make money online, but there are several issues in my opinion:

  1. The reviews are mixed (details below).
  2. Pricing is OK for the initial program but many reviews claim this program becomes more expensive after ($9,800 and even way beyond that).

Bottom line: I am a full time online businessman and I think that Productized Profits is legitimate, but I also think that there’s better alternatives to it that aren’t just WAY cheaper, but also teach similar type of material and more.

Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).

Back to the Productized Profits review:

Summary of the program:

According to several sources, Productized Profits and ultimately Growth Cave is a multifacited program that sells multiple courses in different online business models including:

  • Local marketing
  • Online course creation and marketing
  • Making digital advertising agencies

Users begin their training through the Productized Profits program ($1,497) that goes over the process of building an advertising agency and you learn (through 6 modules of training) how this is done step by step.

Additionally people are given access to tools like Clientbolt and a forum to get help if needed. Overall this course covers how to build an online business, get leads, make high ticket commissions and more.

Beyond this higher tier programs (for way higher prices) are offered to give people more options to build their knowledge, skills and potential success in online business. From what I have seen, these offers can cost $1,000s and in one case $10,000s, but they are optional (source 1, source 2, source 3).

Pros:

  • The premise behind everything Productized Profits/Growth Cave teaches within it’s courses is legitimate.
  • Lucas Lee Tyson is a real person with real world experience on building successful online businesses.
  • There are success stories.

Cons:

  • There are many mixed reviews on Growth Cave (source 1, source 2). I encourage people to read both the positive/negative reviews as well as Growth Cave’s responses to some of them and draw your own conclusions.
  • Most of the negative reviews make the same claims: Pricing is high ($9,800, $40,000 was mentioned), customer support is poor and some have alleged refund issues.
  • There’s already a lot of alternatives to Growth Cave that are better and teach the same/more stuff than it does (and cheaper to try), like Wealthy Affiliate.

My final thoughts on Productized Profits/Growth Cave and better alternatives:

As someone who currently makes money online full time, has reviewed 100s of make money online programs and understands that pretty much any popular program comes with it’s own controversies, I air on the side of Productized Profits/Growth Cave being legitimate (and also because I know of this business model and that it works. However I am also not discrediting the numerous poor reviews I saw online of it.

In these situations, I have to look at the objective things and analyze if the program is worth buying and in Growth Cave’s case, I think it is a legitimate program that has good value, but also honestly believe that there’s better alternatives for the following reasons:

  1. The program’s prices are just too high in my opinion ($1,497 is OK for the main program but I think it could have offered way more for that price).
  2. The other costs of $9,800 and beyond that I saw cited from the MANY negative reviews were too much in my opinion.
  3. I already know there’s programs that teach similar stuff on building an online business, for way less, that have a good reputation and on top of that way more success stories.

Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:

Wealthy Affiliate is the program I learned all of my online business skills from as well as the reason why I make money online full time today.

While they do provide similar training on what Productized Profits/Growth Cave offers, their main specialty is helping people create a profitable website on any passions you have in life and monetizing it various ways.

So if you love mountain biking for example, they’ll show you how to create a profitable website on mountain bikes (promoting them, putting ads on the site, etc…).

Here’s why it’s better than Growth Cave in my opinion:

  1. It’s free to join (literally, no CC required).
  2. It’s very beginner friendly.
  3. Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
  4. It teaches multiple ways to create an online business.
  5. There’s also material similar to what Growth Cave teaches.
  6. It has more success stories than Growth Cave.
  7. Very high Trustpilot rating (4.9 out of 5 stars).
  8. You get the best support including expert coaching.
  9. And there’s much more.

Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).

It’s free to test drive and only $49/month (or for the best membership, $99/month) if you decide to stick around. One of the many fallacies I often run into is that because a program is expensive, it means it’s worth it. Perhaps that’s true in certain cases, but with Wealthy Affiliate, you get immense value and you can actually try it for free to see that.

Wealthy Affiliate vs Growth Cave (comparison):

My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):

  1. Join here (its free)
  2. Complete the set up process which has you create your first passion based website.
  3. Start your training

The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).

Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):

  • Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
  • Access to the Hubs platform (5 step business set up process)
  • 8 lesson starter course
  • Coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
  • And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).

The program does have 2 optional upgrades called Premium and Premium Plus after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:

  • Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
  • Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
  • Use my coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.

Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.

It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.

And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
