John Crestani is one of the most recognized names/faces in the online business world and chances are you’ve already heard about one of his books or programs and want to know if you can trust him to help you make money online and that’s something I’m going to help answer.
I’m someone who has a lot of experience/success with the online business world as well as John Crestani and his programs (Super Affiliate System) and in this post will be covering:
-
- Who John Crestani is
- My experiences/thoughts on his products
- Whether or not he can help you succeed online
- Pros and cons
- If there are better alternatives to John’s programs (in my opinion there are)
Quick info on John Crestani:
John Crestani is a popular online marketer who has made millions in the business. His main forte is helping people make money online through affiliate marketing (promoting other people’s products) and he has created numerous programs and training online to help people do that. Here are some examples:
His free content: John runs a YouTube channel as well as podcast that talks about ways to make money online. This content is free to check out.
Programs: His main one is called Super Affiliate System which I consider to be his flagship program. That program teaches people mainly how to promote the Super Affiliate System Other than this there is also an additional program called Internet Jetset which comes as a prelude to the Super Affiliate System program and teaches people blogging/SEO.
Pros:
- You can see a lot of John’s content for free.
- His Internet Jetset program in my opinion is pretty good.
Cons:
- Super Affiliate System (SAS, his main program) has poor reviews on Trustpilot (2.5 out of 5 stars).
- SAS is also expensive at $997 (plus you may have to spend $100s, $1000s more on ads).
- I am (mostly) not a fan of John’s free content as it’s often very generalized (example), often has holes in my opinion and is a bit too theatrical for my taste, like throwing around money (I prefer substance and details over general/hyped content).
Do I recommend John Crestani and his products? Not really:
I have mixed views on John but overall just can’t recommend his programs and here’s what I mean:
On the positive side:
- I think some of his free content is OK (definintely not all of it). You should judge that for yourself.
- I tried his Internet Jetset program long ago and thought it was pretty good.
- I would say his training material is beginner friendly.
On the negative side:
- His main program is Super Affiliate System but that program is very expensive ($997) and doesn’t have the best reviews.
- I am not a fan of the way he markets in his videos and ads (but I can understand why), like throwing money around and I’ve often seen a lot of his videos miss out on important context that is imperative to know if you’re going to succeed online.
Overall: I think he’s legit, but I personally believe that there are better alternatives/people to learn how to make money online from and in my experience there are indeed such people/places that can teach you the same stuff through better quality content and for way less too.
Alternatives? Yep! Why this is my #1 recommendation:
Wealthy Affiliate is my #1 recommended program for teaching people how to make money online. In addition to having the most success stories out of any other program online today, it’s the same program that I personally got my online success from.
Wealthy Affiliate also teaches people affiliate marketing (as well as other make money online strategies) but their main specialty is helping people create a profitable affiliate website on any passion you have in life.
So if you love mountain biking for example, they’ll show you how to create a profitable affiliate site that promotes mountain bikes (as well as other things).
Here’s why it’s better than John Crestani’s products in my opinion:
- WA is free to join (no CC required).
- It’s very beginner friendly.
- Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
- Better quality training in my opinion.
- It has more success stories than John’s programs.
- Very high Trustpilot rating (500+ reviews, 4.9 out of 5 stars).
- Excellent support/help provided.
- And there’s much more.
Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).
It’s free to test drive and only $49/month (or for the best membership, $99/month) if you decide to stick around. One of the many fallacies I often run into is that because a program is expensive, it means it’s worth it. Perhaps that’s true in certain cases, but with Wealthy Affiliate, you get immense value and you can actually try it for free to see that.
My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):
- Join here (its free)
- Complete the Hubs set up process (5 steps) which has you create your first passion based website.
- Start your training (8 lesson course)
The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).
Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):
- Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
- Access to the Hubs platform (5 step business set up process)
- 8 lesson starter course
- Coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
- And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).
The program does have 2 optional upgrades called Premium and Premium Plus after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:
- Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
- Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
- Use my coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.
Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.
It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.
And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
Thanks for reading my review of John Crestani and if there are ANY questions about either program or mistakes that require corrections, feel free to mention them in the comments below!
