Simple Profit System (Wealthery) Review – Is it Legit or a Total Scam?

This review of Simple Profit System (aka Wealthery) is going to explain what you need to know before you try it, including:

1. If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
2. How it really works.
3. The pros and cons.
4. How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
5. And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).

What do you learn? How to be a successful Amazon affiliate via making video reviews through their influencer program and marketing products on social media, YouTube and other sources.
Is it a scam? No, but there are mixed reviews and the strategy may not be for everyone.

Do I recommend Simple Profit System? Somewhat:

I do believe that Simple Profit System has good value and can teach you to make money online, but there are several things to consider in my opinion:

The Amazon affiliate program has it’s own pros/cons (covered below)
The strategy may not be ideal for everyone as there is a bit of social media marketing involved to do this

Bottom line: I am a full time online businessman and I think that Simple Profit System is legitimate, but I also think that there’s better alternatives to it that aren’t just WAY cheaper, but also teach similar type of material and more.

Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).

Summary of the program:

According to several sources, Simple Profit System is a program that teaches people how to be a successful affiliate marketer via promoting Amazon products through their influencer program. Here’s how it works:

You sign up to become an Amazon affiliate/influencer
You create video reviews of Amazon products (promoting them)
You then create social media pages (YouTube, Instagram for example) and build up your audience/following there and steer them to the products you’re promoting to then make money
For each sale, you’ll typically earn 1%-10% commissions
When rinsed, repeated and scaled you can potentially earn a part-full time income doing this

The program was created by Travis Stephenson and he provides detailed instructions on getting it all done. You learn the process of signing up to the Amazon program, building up your influencer pages through ads and free traffic, growing things little by little and then promoting the Amazon products successfully. Support is mostly provided through a private Facebook group.

Pros:

Travis Stephenson legitimately makes the money he shows off in his videos/reports
There are success stories from other members
The method is legitimate (I’ve done a version of that myself in the past)
Pricing for the program is actually pretty good (nothing high ticket crazy)
Most reviews (most Trustpilot reviews are pretty good at 4.1 out of 5 stars)

Cons:

Some mixed reviews on the same Trustpilot for Simple Profit System. Some of them talk about a higher upsell and refund issues (check them all out, draw your own conclusions).
Wealthery reviews on the BBB are not very positive.
The strategy might not be ideal for people who are shy to show themselves on camera and practice to get good at it
Limited to promoting Amazon’s products (low commission rates typically)
According to this source, there are 2 upsells which I wish were mentioned on the home page ($49/month and a $299 one) and he did provide screenshots for proof. According to the same source, Travis also has some questionable history.
Products you want to promote may need to also be purchased in order to do the video reviews authentically (extra costs)

My final thoughts on Simple Profit System (Wealthery):

As someone who currently makes money online full time, has reviewed 100s of make money online programs and understands that any program comes with it’s own controversies, I personally think that Travis’s program is legitimate, and has potential for people to make money online with.

However being that this strategy is kind of only limited to promoting Amazon products and I have read some controversial reviews that I cited above, I’m not fully on board with recommending it just yet.

Aside from that, focusing on the strategy taught, I like Amazon (although they are a bit strict sometimes) and personally made about $1,000 last year promoting their products, but I don’t focus so much on that network because of it’s limitations.

I also like affiliate flexibility in that you should have the option to make money from more than one network and that’s exactly what I do, and there are great additions/alternatives to Amazon program.

The important thing is you should have the training/availability to choose what you want to promote and from where. Travis program can definitely work for people, but there are also other alternatives to consider which perhaps may be better for you.

Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:

Wealthy Affiliate is the program I learned all of my affiliate marketing skills from as well as the reason why I make money online full time today.

Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).
