I purchased Passive Profit Pages and in this review, I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:
- If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
- How it really works.
- The pros and cons.
- About how much you can expect to spend if you buy it (it is WAY more than you think).
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).
The quick overview:
- Name: Passive Profit Pages.
- Owners: Bill (no last name?)
- Pricing: $17, then 3 upsells and $100s in extra costs.
- What is it? You get premade affiliate sites that promote Clickbank products. You have to pay for solo ads to get traffic to those sites though.
- Is it a scam? I’m going to say no, but for the rating:
- Rating: 0 out of 100 points.
Do I recommend Passive Profit Pages? No:
This was honestly one of the worst programs I’ve ever purchased and because I know how affiliate marketing really works, here are the biggest issues I found:
- Mystery owner.
- Upsells are not mentioned until you buy the $17 program (surprise!).
- You need to buy solo ads if you hope to make any of these Passive Profit Pages work. Problem is, solo ads cost A LOT of money to use and in my opinion, the sites you get from this program are very LOW quality, making sales very unlikely to happen!
Believe it or not, there are more issues I found, but these 3 main ones encapsulate the main issues I quickly found with the program.
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to the Passive Profit Pages review:
Summary of the program:
This program is sold (in my objective opinion) as an amazing done for you system to help you make money online through affiliate marketing. Once you buy it however, a very different (and disappointing) story emerges. Here’s what you need to know:
- You get 5 premade niche websites, each promoting Clickbank products relevant to the niche.
- You sign up with Clickbank and insert your affiliate links to promote the offers on the sites you get.
- You buy solo ads for possibly $100s extra if not more to drive traffic to these sites.
That’s basically it, that’s how the program works (short tutorial videos are provided). It’s technically “hands off” in that minimal work is required for set up, hence the done for you part.
Here’s one site I made using the program (very poor quality stuff if you ask me):
But in reality the odds this formula even works are small if not zilch in my opinion. Here’s why:
1) The sites you get are duplicated, so forget about them ranking on Google (for SEO).
2) The funnels on the website are also not very good, so you would need to understand which pages to drive trafifc to from your solo ads to even have a chance of making this work.
3) Solo ads themselves are mostly garbage ways to drive traffic to websites, on top of sending them to sites with poor funnel set ups. Bottom line: It’s tough to make this work.
4) On top of this, several parts of the site had broken parts/links, making it tough to navigate. As an experienced affiliate, I can go around this, but if you’re new and unsure of what to do and where to go, good luck figuring all of this out! Here’s proof:
Pros:
- NONE. I wasted money on this!
Cons:
- Not beginner friendly in my opinion.
- Poor quality websites are given to you.
- They are duplicate sites (bye bye SEO/organic rankings).
- Solo ads are very difficult to work with in my opinion (requires a lot of money and experience).
- Be prepared for the upsells ($100+ and then solo ad spending $100’s extra possibly).
- Fake testimonials were spotted (source).
- Is Bill even the real guy behind the program?
- This done for you system is very poorly designed and has very low chances of working (that’s me being optimistic too!).
- No Trustpilot page.
- I can keep going, but this program doesn’t deserve anymore attention!
My final thoughts on Passive Profit Pages:
Beware of “done for you” programs like this. I run into them often in my line of work so I am not surprised by how things turned out, but for someone who is new to:
- Affiliate marketing.
- Making niche websites.
- Generating traffic to the site (solo ads, SEO, ect…).
You may find a lot of difficulty making this all work (I did and I’m advanced) and also because I KNOW how these things work, or should I say how they are SUPPOSED to work, this program is very opposite from anything I would ever do or even endorse doing.
In fact, there is no endorsement, this program gets a big, fat 0 from me. If you want to succeed at affiliate marketing, making money online, you have to avoid programs like this. True success in affiliate marketing takes time, PROPER training and you can get this elsewhere:
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate is also an affiliate marketing training program, but specifically one that helps you make profitable niche websites on any passion you have in life.
The way they do that is they provide training to help you build it from scratch and develop it to a point that it gets free traffic from Google and other places, and that promotes products or all sorts from different affiliate networks (Clickbank, Amazon, ect…).
You actually get PROPER direction, guidance, tools and REALISTIC ways to make an ethical affiliate marketing business with the program.
Here’s one of MANY reasons Wealthy Affiliate is better than Passive Profit Pages in my opinion:
- It’s free to test drive (no CC needed).
- WAY more transparent in my opinion.
- Owners are actually real (Kyle and Carson).
- It’s beginner friendly + has high quality training.
- Better on YOUR wallet: $0 to try, then $49/month (full training).
- It teaches multiple ways to do affiliate marketing.
- It has more success stories than any other program.
- More flexibility: Build an online business on YOUR passions.
- You get the best support including expert coaching.
- 4.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot (100s of very positive reviews).
- You can speak to the owners directly 24-7 (and experts too).
- I personally help you inside Wealthy Affiliate (I am an advanced affiliate).
- And much more!
Bottom line: You CAN make GOOD money as an affiliate marketer, but you need good and realistic training to succeed at this stuff, not shady done for you programs that promise a ton, but underdeliver beyond belief!
And with Wealthy Affiliate you will get the blueprint to do just that. It’s free to test drive and only $49/month if you decide to stick around.
This is not a done for you program, but frankly that is what makes it better. Done for you programs are often not what they are pitched as being and I would rather you learn how to build your own successful affiliate marketing and get everything you need to do it. That’s what you’ll get with Wealthy Affiliate.
Here’s a side by side comparison of Wealthy Affiliate vs Passive Profit Pages:
My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):
The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).
Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):
- Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
- 10 lesson getting started course.
- 1 website included.
- 7 day access to the WA community (help/support).
- 7 days coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
- And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).
The program does have an optional upgrade called Premium after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:
- Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
- Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
- Use my 7 day coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.
Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.
It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.
And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
