Passive Profit Pages Review: Is it Legit or a Total Scam?

I purchased the Passive Profit Pages program and this review is going to explain what you need to know before you try it, including:

  1. If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
  2. How it really works.
  3. The pros and cons.
  4. How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
  5. And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).

The quick overview:

  • Name: Passive Profit Pages.
  • Owners: Bill (no last name?)
  • Pricing: $17, then 3 upsells and $100s in extra costs.
  • What is it? You get premade affiliate sites that promote Clickbank products. You have to pay for solo ads to get traffic to those sites though.
  • Is it a scam? I’m going to say no, but there’s things I didn’t like.
  • Rating: 0 out of 100 points.

Do I recommend Passive Profit Pages? No:

This was honestly one of the worst programs I’ve ever purchased and because I know how affiliate marketing really works, here are the biggest issues I found:

  1. Mystery owner.
  2. $100s in upsells are not mentioned until you buy the $17 program
  3. To make money with this program, you need to buy solo ads which drive visitors to your site. The problem is, solo ads cost A LOT of money to use and in my opinion, the sites you get from this program are very LOW quality, making sales very unlikely to happen.

Bottom line: I’m someone who makes money as an affiliate marketer too and this type of program is something I cannot recommend for people looking to do the same. In my opinion there’s better options out there.

Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).

Back to the Passive Profit Pages review:

Summary of the program:

This program is sold (in my objective opinion) as an amazing done for you system to help you make money online through affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is the process of you promoting other people’s products for commissions and in the case of this program, you get pre made websites to do that.

Once you buy it however, a very different (and disappointing) story emerges. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. You get 5 premade websites.
  2. Each promotes affiliate products from Clickbank (a popular affiliate network) relevant to the website’s topic.
  3. You have to buy solo ads for possibly $100s extra if not more to drive traffic to these sites so you can potentially start earning money from these promotions.

How much will you have to pay?

Again it’s $17 for the program. Then there’s upsells pitched which cost extra (they are optional but the $17 program is in my opinion very limited if you’re new).

Then there’s the solo ads to consider. Basically you have to buy clicks from networks. Buying more clicks = spending more money and I estimate that to be in the $100s if not more.

Even more issues I found:

  1. The premade sites you get are duplicated, so forget about them getting organic traffic from Google (SEO).
  2. The sites are trying to sell the products for you, but the approach they use are in my opinion not very good, so you would need to understand which pages to drive traffic to from your solo ads to even have a chance of making this work.
  3. Solo ads themselves are mostly garbage ways to drive traffic to websites and I personally never use them for my sites.
  4. On top of this, several parts of the site had broken parts/links, making it tough to navigate. This makes making sales even harder! Here’s an example:

Pros:

  1. NONE. I wasted money on this!

Cons:

  1. Not beginner friendly.
  2. The premade websites are very low quality in my opinion.
  3. They are duplicate sites (bye bye SEO/organic rankings).
  4. Solo ads are very difficult to work with in my opinion (cost a lot of money too)
  5. Surprise upsells (more costs after the $17 purchase).
  6. Fake testimonials were identified (source).
  7. Mystery owner of the program.

My final thoughts on ABS and better alternatives:

I rarely give programs a 0 out of 100 but this one really disappointed me to that point that I had no choice. If you’re looking to earn money online through affiliate marketing, I would never be able to recommend this program to you.

There are far better options out there for you to explore and the truth about the business is that you need good education, training, tools and guidance to make this work. Premade, done for you stuff like with Passive Profit Pages rarely ever works as intended unless it’s actually a good program (which this one is NOT in my opinion) and you also have the knowledge/skills to make it work. Just sitting back and letting it all make money for you is just not something that happens easily in this business unless you put in the work.

Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:

Wealthy Affiliate is the program I learned all of my affiliate marketing skills from as well as the reason why I make money online full time today.

This program also helps people become successful in this business but their main specialty is helping people create profitable affiliate websites on any passions you have in life.

So if you love mountain biking for example, they’ll show you how to create a profitable affiliate website that promotes mountain bikes (they also teach other ways to make money online).

Here’s why I recommend it over the Passive Profit Pages program (or any other):

  1. It’s free to join (literally, no CC required).
  2. It’s very beginner friendly.
  3. Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month)
  4. It teaches multiple ways to do affiliate marketing
  5. Very high Trustpilot rating (500+ reviews, 4.9 out of 5 stars).
  6. Excellent support including expert coaching
  7. And there’s much more.

Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).

It’s free to try and only $49/month (or for the best membership, $99/month) if you decide to stick around. One of the many fallacies I often run into is that because a program is expensive, it means it’s worth it. Perhaps that’s true in certain cases, but with Wealthy Affiliate, you get immense value and you can actually try it for free to see that.

My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):

  1. Join here (its free)
  2. Complete the set up process which has you create your first passion based website
  3. Start your training

The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).

Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):

  • Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
  • Access to an online business set up blueprint
  • Starter course
  • Coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
  • And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).

The program does have 2 optional upgrades called Premium and Premium Plus after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:

  • Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
  • Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
  • Use my coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.

Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.

It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.

And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
