Is Jeff Lerner The Real Deal? What You Need to Know:

Jeff Lerner’s ads are common to run into, and overall he is an interesting/controversial figure who teaches you to make money online. I’m someone who has tried a bunch of his stuff including:

  • Read 3 of his eBooks, didn’t like any of them.
  • Watched his YouTube videos (saw a bunch, some of them are OK).
  • Tried some of his Entre Institute program (I bought the $39 program, didn’t like it).

I’ll cover more on that later In this review, but what I really want to focus on in this article are the following things:

  1. If he’s a scammer or not (I don’t believe he is, but I’m not a fan either and I’ll explain why).
  2. How he teaches you to make money online (and if that works).
  3. How much you can expect to pay for his teachings (it isn’t cheap!).
  4. And if there are better ways to learn what Jeff teaches you to succeed online (there are).

The overview of Jeff Lerner:

  • Name: Jeff Lerner.
  • Who is he? A digital entreprenuer.
  • What does he do? Teaches people to make money online through free content and (mainly) through a program called Entre Institute.
  • Pricing (Entre): $39, $3,997 and possibly even higher upsells.
  • Is Jeff Lerner a scammer? In my opinion no.
  • Is Entre Institute a scam? In my opinion no.
  • My Rating for Jeff/Entre: 35 out of 100 points.

Do I recommend Jeff Lerner or Entre Institute? Not really:

In my opinion Jeff has some decent content to offer on his YouTube channel, but in regards to his eBooks, not a fan!

And in regards to Entre Institute (what he mainly steers people into) I do believe it can teach you to make money online, but there are several problems with it in my opinion:

  1. You have to pay a lot to learn this ($3,997 and possibly more).
  2. I joined the $39 program and was bombarded with mass calls, texts and emails (very annoying).
  3. There are better alternatives that teach the same material for MUCH LESS.

Bottom line: I joined Entre Institute as an experienced person at making money online and I can tell you for a fact that what they teach you can learn elsewhere and will never have to pay so much to do it. Besides that, I didn’t like my experience and left and it didn’t help raise my views on Jeff Lerner.

Better alternatives to Jeff/Entre Institute? Yes (More info on that below).

Back to the Jeff Lerner/Entre Institute review:

This part of the review is divided into 2 parts:

1) The first is on Jeff himself and my experiences with him.

2) The second is on Entre Institute because you can’t talk about Jeff Lerner without talking about this program.

Bottom line: If you want to make money online with what Jeff teaches, Entre Institute is the program through which he teaches you that stuff.

Summary of Jeff Lerner:

Jeff is a rags to riches story basically. He made a lot of his money doing digital real estate which is another term for making money online.

He offers people a lot of free content in the form of YouTube videos and at least 3 free eBooks (Millionaire Shortcut, No Degree Success Secrets and Confessions of a Coffee Shop Millionaire). These 3 eBooks basically pitch the same message: Do digital real estate and have Jeff be your mentor, after which you are promoted the Entre Institute program.

Summary of the Entre Institute program:

Entre Institute is a multi layered program that teaches you to make money online through 3 different methods:

  1. Affiliate marketing (promoting other people’s products).
  2. Digital agencies (helping businesses advertise online).
  3. Making eCourses (finding a niche you love, making a course and selling it).

To get started with Entre and this training, you have several options:

  • A $39 intro program (which I tried). You get access to 6 steps that introduce you to the 3 business models.
  • A $3,997 pitch at the end of the 6 steps known as the Entre Digital Course (full training access).
  • I’ve also had at least 1 person share (who joined the $3,997 Entre Digital Course) tell me there are more upsells and one can reach this much:

Pros:

  1. Jeff does have a lot of free content he shares with people on YouTube/eBooks.
  2. There are success stories in the Entre program.
  3. Entre teaches 3 legit online business models (I have experience with it).
  4. Decent help/support provided in his program.

Cons:

  1. I have mixed views on Jeff Lerner (source 1) but I will assume he’s legit for now.
  2. The $39 Entre membership I tried wasn’t amazing (I’d rate it 15 out of 100 points).
  3. I believe the $3,997 upsell is ridiculously expensive.
  4. There are also multiple claims I’ve seen that there are even higher upsells.
  5. You can learn these same business models for much less (info below).
  6. I was very UNHAPPY with all the calls, texts and emails I was bombarded with from Entre.
  7. In my opinion, this program needs more transparency (like extra upsell info).
  8. There’s way too many alternatives already to Entre that in my opinion are better (and cheaper to try), like Wealthy Affiliate.

My final thoughts on Jeff Lerner, Entre Institute and why I left:

When I first heard about Jeff, while I thought some of his ads were cheesy, I wanted to give his eBooks and then Entre program a shot and my experiences just kept being one disappointment after another unfortunately.

But this is my experience/opinion and you should absolutely do your own research, draw your own conclusions and do what’s comfortable for YOUR wallet.

In my opinion, Entre Institute can teach you to succeed online, but only if you pay at least $3,997 to join and in my opinion that is not worth it.

Some would argue with me, but I’m an experienced individual in this business who has seen what else is out there and I don’t believe you should pay this much.

So why did I leave Entre Institute? 3 reasons:

  1. Poor value in the $39 program in my opinion.
  2. I refuse to pay $3,997 to learn the “real stuff”.
  3. The calls I was bombarded annoyed me like crazy (I think it’s pushy, spammy and doesn’t give me enough space to decide for myself).

Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:

Wealthy Affiliate also teaches the same ways to succeed online as Entre Institute (affiliate marketing, digital agencies/local marketing and more).

Everything I saw in Entre, I have already known about and made money from thanks to Wealthy Affiliate’s training. It’s why I know what Entre teaches works, but also why I know you can learn it in better places like Wealthy Affiliate.

Here’s why it’s better than Entre Institute in my opinion:

  2. It’s more beginner friendly.

  4. It has similar training that Entre Institute has.
  5. WA’s free training is better than Entre’s $39 membership.
  6. It has more success stories than Entre Institute.

  8. Very transparent program (and highly rated).
  9. Owners of WA (Kyle and Carson) are successful marketers like Jeff.
  10. And there’s much more.

Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).

One of the many fallacies I often run into is that because a program is expensive, it means it’s worth it. Perhaps that’s true in certain cases, but with Wealthy Affiliate, you get immense value and you can test drive for free first to see that.
