Is Income School Legit? Here’s What You Need to Know:

In this review of Income School, I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:

If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
How it really works.
The pros and cons.
How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).

The quick overview:

Name: Income School.
Owner: Rick Kesler, Jim Harmer.
Pricing: $449 first year, $259 every year after + extra costs.
What do you learn? Success online through niche blogging.
Is it a scam? No, it’s legitimate but has objective things to consider.
Rating: 70 out of 100 points.

Do I recommend Income School? Yes, but there are better options:

Income School in my opinion is one of the top programs to learn how to make money online through blogging. However, there are several things you should know before joining including:

1) The program mostly if not fully focuses on blogging (might not be for everyone). And for the price, I’d like to have seen more make money online topics covered.

2) The costs to be a member are OK, but there are extra costs to run your site (hosting) and other potential upsells which could add to it.

3) There are programs out there which teach similar material, for less and offer you way more value for the lower cost than Income School (more details below).

Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).

Back to the Income School review:

Income School helps people create successful blogging businesses through a program called Project 24, which in short is a 24 month training program in which you learn the following things:

How to find a niche to start a blog on.
How to create the the blog and build it up so it gets traffic.
How to monetize the blog through methods such as affiliate marketing, ad displays and more.

Students are provided step by step training to accomplish this goal and typically results can happen in under a year.

The program, while being very comprehensive is writing intensive as blogging does requires that, but the fundamentals taught here are solid and do help people succeed with creating legitimate blog businesses that earn them a passive/full time income.

Pros:

Income School is one of the top blogging programs out there.
The owners and their reputation are legitimate.
No hype. The owners say it like it is.
The owners of Income School also provide great, free info on their YouTube channel.
Income School has success stories.
It is beginner friendly.
In my opinion, the pricing for this program is very fair.
They practice white hat blogging methods to grow the blog.
Trustpilot strangely rates them as 3.8 out of 5, but there is only 1 review which rates them as a 5 out of 5 (I see the 1 review as the right score).

Cons:

Only really covers blogging.
Blogging is very writing intensive and requires paitence (up to a year to see results in many cases).
Additional costs to run your blog can add up to extra $100’s spent yearly.
No refunds! This is one of the only programs I know that doesn’t offer them (but I understand why).

My final thoughts on Income School:

Again, Income School is a top blogging training program in my opinion and anyone SERIOUS about starting a blog on something they love in life should seriously consider this program.

Blogging when taught right has seriously profitable online business implications and speaking from experience, what Income School teaches works, but it does require that users really put in the time and apply what the program teaches. This is NO get rich quick scheme and there is a good reason why their main inner program is called Project 24 (because it may take this long to see results).

Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:

Wealthy Affiliate is also a blogging training program.

And like Income School, it too teaches people is to build profitable blog websites on passions they have in life, drive free traffic to them and monetize them in very similar ways (affiliate marketing and more).

However, here’s why it’s better than Income School in my opinion:

Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).
