In this review of Stay Home Profits, I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:
- If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
- How it really works.
- The pros and cons.
- How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).
The quick overview:
- Name: Stay Home Profits.
- Owner: Unknown!
- Pricing: $47 and then upsells.
- What do you learn? Making money online “posting links”.
- Is it a scam? Hard to say.
- Rating: 10 out of 100 points.
Do I recommend Stay Home Profits? No:
There are numerous things about this program that worry me, from the get rich quick vibes being pitched to hardly any info on the owner, and the testimonials themselves being highly suspect.
Yes these are my opinions, but they aren’t exactly coming out of nothing. I know about the subject of making money online very well, and sadly have come across programs like this in the past and wasn’t happy about it and everytime I see something like this, I run the other way.
This time around, I did more research on top of my experiences, and on top of all this found some unfortunate things being said about Stay Home Profits.
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to the Stay Home Profits review:
Summary of the program:
If you go by what the program’s sales pitch says, this is a program that teaches you to “post links” to make money. More links posted = more money being made. There is a claim of $500 in earnings too.
While all that sounds simple and amazing, if you are familiar with making money online (as I am), you will deduce that this sounds more like affiliate marketing. You sign up to promote products and services, get special links known as affiliate links, and post them on sites and other places where if they get clicks, and then sales, you earn money.
In my experience, posting links is often mistaught and oversimplified. A lot of people just tell you to go and post your links to friends, family and on different sites out there. But this sort of link sharing like this is basically like spamming and doesn’t work (this is how a lot of other people out there like to pitch it being).
If you want to know how to actually make good money “posting links”, you need PROPER context and because it’s not that simple. It takes work, effort and time, because what you are seeking to build is a legitimate online business.
As someone who does this, let me share how this can actually look (with more proper context):
- I build a website that shares info on how to camp out in the woods.
- I sign up with affiliate networks like Amazon that let me promote camping supplies.
- I get links (affiliate links) that I post on my site that review different camping products/supplies.
- My site gets 10,000 visitors a month and earns $2,000 in affiliate sales every month from this.
That’s an example of how posting links properly can lead to making you money online, but it takes time and work. Further below I will show you a legitimate program that actually teaches you HOW to do this properly.
Pros:
- None.
Cons:
- Mystery owner?
- No Truspilot reviews (suspicious stuff).
- Numerous negative reviews about Stay at Home Profits can easily be found.
- Get rich quick vibes (be careful of that).
- Posting links takes time, effort and paitence (it’s not a get rich quick scheme).
- Some claims out there talk about fake testimonials (hired spokespeople basically).
My final thoughts on Stay Home Profits:
I didn’t buy the program because I learned my lesson many years ago after being burned by similar ones. However, I didn’t just look at Stay at Home Profits and decide if it’s a scam or not based on previous experiences that have no direct relation to it.
Instead, I examined the many other reviews out there on this program and let me tell you, what I say here can be considered positive to what they say about it and long story short, my suspicions about this program are basically confirmed through those reviews. Here is at least 1 source for your own research (which I encourage).
At the end of the day, because I know about this business of posting links (it can be done legitimately and ethically), I know how it actually works, and people/programs that pitch in a simplified way need to be more closely examined. In this programs case, I found a lot of red flags and that further pushed me away.
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate happens be to be on of the few good programs out there that teaches a legitimate way to do link posting and affiliate marketing.
Specifically they help anyone (beginners especially) create profitable affiliate websites on their unique passions in life and later on teach you to also expand into other online business realms.
Here’s why it’s better than Stay Home Profits in my opinion:
- It’s free to test drive (no CC needed).
- It’s beginner friendly.
- Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
- It teaches multiple ways to do affiliate marketing.
- It has more success stories than Stay Home Profits.
- Very high Truspilot score (4.9 out of 5 stars).
- You get the best support including expert coaching.
- Very transparent program.
- And there’s much more.
Bottom line: Wealthy Affiliate is one of the most trusted and long standing programs in the business of teaching people to create successful online businesses.
And while it takes work and time, at least you get the real story without sugar coasting or nonesense you may see/hear from other programs. At the end of the day, if you want to succeed online, you need good training and this program has that (plus much more).
And it’s free to test drive and only $49/month if you decide to stick around the program. That allows you to give it a shot if you are even a little bit skeptical.
Here’s a side by side comparison of Wealthy Affiliate vs Stay Home Profits:
My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):
The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).
Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):
- Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
- 10 lesson getting started course.
- 1 website included.
- 7 day access to the WA community (help/support).
- 7 days coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
- And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).
The program does have an optional upgrade called Premium after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:
- Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
- Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
- Use my 7 day coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.
Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.
It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.
And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).

HI. A Llittle confused about Stay Home Profits because, there is a lady in my home town that made alot if money from that program. Even so much, that they hung her picture with her holding the check in our career center. I would like to make passive income that is real, but through a legitimate web sight. Now I am really confused!
I’m not sure about this lady or if it’s Stay Home Profits Stephanie, but I broke down the pros and cons of Stay Home Profits. Personally, with regards to this specific program I have a hard time trusting it and I explained why.
For passive income, it takes time to build an online business but the Wealthy Affiliate program I mentioned can be tried risk free so you can see if you want to check it out further and keep going. I would give that a shot.
