I was a member of the Spark by Clickbank program and in this review am going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:
- If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
- How it really works.
- The pros and cons.
- How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).
The quick overview:
- Name: Spark by Clickbank.
- Owner: Clickbank.
- Pricing: Free 30 day trial, then $47/month. There are also several upsells (4) that total to $100’s in costs (more explained later).
- What do you learn? Online business, specifically setting that up with Clickbank as an affiliate or vendor (product owner).
- Is it a scam? No it’s legit.
- Rating: 45 out of 100 points
Do I recommend Spark by Clickbank? No:
Spark by Clickbank is legitimate. However, the main issues I personally see are as follows:
- The program is very disorganized (difficult to figure out where to go).
- The extra costs of the program are a bit much and unecessary in my opinion.
- I am a full time online businessman, and even a top affiliate for Clickbank (proof below) and I think there’s better alternatives to it that aren’t just WAY cheaper, but also teach similar type of material and more.
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to what you need to know about Spark by Clickbank:
Summary of the program:
Spark by Clickbank is an online business training program which specifically teaches you how to succeed on the Clickbank network. Clickbank is a reputable online organization that helps people create digital/physical products and sell through it as well as a progam for affiliates to promote these products.
For example:
Let’s say you want to make a digital course on how to reduce stress. You can do that and put it up on Clickbank and then have affiliates promote it so you make money.
Subsequently you can choose the route of becoming an affiliate marketer and promoting the type of digital course above and/or others (there’s countless niches/topics and products you can promote there).
Essentially what Spark by Clickbank does is provide you with training/resources to show you the potential of this and helping you figure out whether you want to be a product creator or affiliate as well as resources to help you further along with your choice.
Here is a list of extra costs of the Spark by Clickbank program summarized:
- 30 days free, then $47 a month
- One time $97 cost upsell
- Facebook Ads Mastery: $197
- Spark Relive Recording: $37
- Spark 200 (Robbys training): $497
- Additional costs to use some of the training (like Facebook Ads) can be $100s if not $1,000’s extra
Pros:
- This program (and Clickbank) are legit.
- Free 30 day trial available.
- Decent material for beginners to online business (source).
Cons:
- Very disorganized members area (I had a lot of trouble figuring out where to go).
- Lots of extra upsells totaling to $100s.
- Cost of using paid training may be even more costs: $1,000s potentially on paid ads.
- 2.8 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot which is not very positive (and many reviews say the same things I’m say).
My final thoughts on Spark by Clickbank:
I wish I could have given Spark by Clickbank a higher rating, but as of right now I cannot. I am a full time online marketer and even a top affiliate for Clickbank itself:
I have a lot of things that I am thankful for when it comes to the Clickbank program, but since this review is for Spark by Clickbank I have to be honest in that I did not find the program to be very useful. While the essence of this program is to help you become successful on Clickbank as a product creator or affiliate, the way it goes about it is quite confusing, disorganized and there’s a bit of upsells in all of this that can make it a much more expensive project that needs to be.
When I was coming up in this business and a Clickbank affiliate I used training provided in the alternative program I’m going to recommend to promote Clickbank products successfully.
Bottom line: In my opinion if you want to succeed online with Clickbank (and beyond it), there’s better programs that teach you to do this than Spark by Clickbank.
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate is also an online business training program like Spark by Clickbank. They teach affiliate marketing, product creation and more.
But their main specialty is helping people create a profitable website on any passions you have in life and monetizing it various ways (including through Clickbank).
So if you love mountain biking for example, they’ll show you how to create a profitable website on mountain bikes (promoting them, putting ads on the site, etc…).
When I was coming up in this business, Wealthy Affiliate was the program that taught me how to successfully promote Clickbank products and their training is what ultimately led me to be a top affiliate for that network (2 times).
Here’s why it’s better than Spark by Clickbank in my opinion:
- It’s also free to join (no CC needed).
- More beginner friendly in my opinion.
- WAY more organized (easy to navigate and get training).
- Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
- More success stories than Spark by Clickbank.
- Their training works for Clickbank and beyond.
- Excellent support including expert coaching.
- 4.9 rating on Trustpilot (Spark by Clickbank is 2.8).
Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).

One of the many fallacies I often run into is that because a program is expensive, it means it’s worth it. Perhaps that’s true in certain cases, but with Wealthy Affiliate, you get immense value and you can actually try it for free to see that.
