In this review of 1k a Day Fast Tracks (aka The Fast Tracks), I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:
- If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
- How it really works.
- The pros and cons.
- How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).
The quick overview:
- Name: 1k a Day Fast Tracks (The Fast Tracks).
- Owner: Merlin Holmes.
- Pricing: $997 for the program, then additional costs after.
- What do you learn? Affiliate marketing.
- Is it a scam? No, it’s legitimate but has objective things to consider.
- Rating: 50 out of 100 points.
Do I recommend The Fast Tracks? 4 potential obsacles:
The program is legit, but there are 4 main issues:
- First, it’s $997.
- Second, the costs to do paid ads can be very high and if you’re tight on money, that’s very risky.
- Email marketing itself costs extra to do, and I also think it’s advanced for beginner affiliates.
- Foruth, upsells (autoresponder) and other sources cite buying Clickfunnels which = $100+ monthly costs.
If this isn’t a problem for you, then perhaps 1k a day Fast Tracks may be the program for you.
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to the 1k a Day Fast Tracks review:
Summary of the program:
1k a Day Fast Tracks is an affiliate marketing training program made by Merlin Holmes, who is a successful affiliate marketer.
The program focuses on helping you promote popular selling Clickbank products through what are known as “secondary ad networks” such as Revcontent (think of Native ads on popular sites). The way you do that is:
Merlin’s program provides you with the following things to help with this:
- 6 week training (40+ hours).
- Tons of templates to use for your 2 page site.
- Emails to use.
- And more.
Pros:
- Merlin Holmes is legit from what I’ve seen.
- 1k a Day Fast Tracks strikes me as a legit program if you use it as intended.
- Using secondary ad networks is smart. You can spend less than on regular paid ad networks (potentially).
- There are success stories in the program.
- Good refund policy (60 days).
- You can promote the product without buying it (by joining Clickbank).
Cons:
- The program is extremely expensive ($997).
- On top of the $997, you will need to pay for the ads (that can quickly add up to $100s, $1,000s or more).
- The paid ad options here seem to be limited to secondary ad networks (I wish there was other training besides this).
- I see some mixed messages on Merlin’s sales page (I’ll show you a screenshot shortly).
- I do not recommend using paid ads if you’re tight on money or new to affiliate marketing. If you are in either of these categories, I would recommend Wealthy Affiliate instead (in my opinion, it’s better on all fronts).
My final thoughts on 1k a Day Fast Tracks:
Merlin Holmes program is legitimate and can work for people who take the time to apply it, but on the flip side, not only is it an extremely expensive program itself, on top of that you may also have to spend a lot of extra money to test the strategies Merlin teaches and also will need to buy tools to do that. Here are some:
In my opinion, while I believe 1k a Day Fast Tracks is legitmate and can work, this program should not be treated as a get rich quick scheme and if you’re already tight on money when you start this, the risks are higher if you don’t succeed and of course, there are no guarantees so I would be very careful with this.
Mixed messages? That’s another thing I spotted that I didn’t really like:
I generally liked Merlin’s webinar, but when his slides say one thing, but the disclaimer underneath says another (where I think it’s much more realistic), it gets me worried. Here is one example:
But underneath that slide is a disclaimer of sorts and I actually agree with what it says:
When you get involved with paid ads, in my experience, it is absolutely true that SO many factors play a role and this is why I maintain that experience is a vital thing in being able to make paid ads work. Merlin can do it because he is an expert but in my opinion, this kind of stuff is not beginner friendly.
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate is also an affiliate marketing program, but what it teaches people is to build profitable affiliate websites on passions they have in life and drive free traffic to them (no paid ad risks involved).
They do also have paid ads training in their advanced courses too.
Here’s why it’s better than 1k a Day Fast Tracks in my opinion:
- It’s free to test drive (no CC needed).
- It’s more beginner friendly.
- Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
- It teaches multiple ways to do affiliate marketing.
- It has way more success stories than 1k a Day Fast Tracks.
- You get the best support including expert coaching.
- And there’s much more.
Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).
They also supply you with most if not all the tools you need so you’ll save money.
It’s free to test drive and only $49/month if you decide to stick around.
Here’s a side by side comparison of Wealthy Affiliate vs 1k a Day Fast Tracks:
My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):
The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).
Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):
- Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
- 10 lesson getting started course.
- 1 website included.
- 7 day access to the WA community (help/support).
- 7 days coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
- And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).
The program does have an optional upgrade called Premium after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:
- Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
- Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
- Use my 7 day coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.
Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.
It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.
And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
