I hate to say it, but in my opinion the answer to that question is yes and let me explain why:
I purchased 3 Step Method and in this review, I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:
- If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
- How it really works.
- The pros and cons.
- About how much you can expect to spend if you buy it (it is WAY more than you think).
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).
The quick overview:
- Name: 3 Step Method.
- Owners: Never saw one…
- Pricing: $37 then 3 upsells that are over $200.
- What do you learn? Promoting Clickbank products as an affiliate through a blog.
- Is it a scam? No, but that doesn’t mean I liked it.
- Rating: 0 out of 100 points.
Do I recommend 3 Step Method? No:
This was honestly one of the worst programs I’ve ever purchased. It is super vague, over simplifies affiliate blogging (which I do for a living and now what it really takes) and there are just a bunch of other issues I see. Long story short, I refunded this program because of the poor experience I had there.
If you want to do affiliate marketing through blogging (which this program “teaches”), in my opinion, there are WAY better options!
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to the 3 Step Method review:
Summary of the program:
3 Step Method teaches you to do what is known as affiliate marketing (through a popular network called Clickbank) and through blogging. You’ll get a VERY basic overview of how to do that through 3 steps:
- Choose: You choose a niche topic you like.
- Create: You will create a blog for the topic.
- Cash: You will promote Clickbank products (as an affiliate).
Example:
- You choose a topic like fasting (a form of losing weight).
- You create a blog on fasting.
- You become a Clickbank affiliate (it’s free to sign up), find a fasting program (to be an affiliate for), then promote it on your blog.
Does this formula work? In theory yes, but there’s a reality to the process that makes this formula a lot harder to pull off than this program makes it sound. And in my opinion, this program is one of the worst “training courses” to show you how it’s supposed to be done.
Pros:
- None.
Cons:
- $37 is too much for the value of the program I got (I wouldn’t even charge a penny for it to be honest).
- Sales page was not clear enough on how the program works (not enough transparency).
- No info on the program creator? What is this Mr.X nonsense?

- This program in my opinion as sold as being easy (3 Step Method) when in reality the process is not that simple.
- In my opinion, this program is not realistically teaching a legitimate model of business: Blogging and affiliate marketing. Programs like Wealthy Affiliate on the other hand do in my opinion.
My final thoughts on 3 Step Method:
Blogging and affiliate marketing are honestly great ways to make money online but through the 3 Step Method’s way of teaching it, it has so many missing pieces in my opinion that make this program a disaster for actually putting to practice, because it is SO vague, so over simplified and making it all sound simple, quick and easy that in my opinion it will give beginners the wrong impressions.
Blogging takes months to get results with and there are a bit more than just 3 steps to the process (but it works and can be very profitable if you have the right help to truly show you how it’s done).
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate is also an affiliate marketing training program, but what it does (unlike 3 Step Method) is actually teaches you how to PROPERLY do blogging and affiliate marketing, and specifically on a topic you love!
In other words, they’ll help you create a profitable blog website that does affiliate marketing. It takes work and time, but here you get the real deal training on how to do all of this.
