In this review of Six Figure Mentors, I’m going to cover the most important things you need to know regarding the program, including:
- If it’s really a scam or if it’s legitimate.
- How it really works.
- The pros and cons.
- How much you can expect to spend if you buy it.
- And if there’s better alternatives (in my opinion, there is a BETTER option, but more on that later).
The quick overview:
- Name: Six Figure Mentors.
- Owner: Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek.
- Pricing: $29.95 initially, then potentially $10,000+).
- What do you learn? Making money online through several methods (affiliate marketing, lead generation and more).
- Is it a scam? No, it’s legitimate but has objective things to consider.
- Rating: 30 out of 100 points.
Do I recommend Six Figure Mentors? No:
Not really, and there are a few reasons why:
- First, there is no option to try it free (that was once available, but I personally disliked that experience as it was).
- Second, the costs can get extremely expensive in my opinion ($10,000s potentially).
- Third, I honestly believe there is equal if not FAR better training on the same subjects on making money online you can find in other places (better alternatives basically).
Better alternatives? Yes (More info on that below).
Back to the Six Figure Mentors (SFM) review:
Summary of the program:
Six Figure Mentors is a program that teaches people how to make money online through some of the most popular methods out there, including:
- Affiliate marketing (promoting other people’s stuff).
- Email marketing (collecting emails and promoting stuff through emails to leads).
- Lead generation in general.
- Making profitable websites.
- Paid ads.
- And much more.
However, to get the FULL Six Figure Mentors training and experience, people need to buy one or more memberships/packages that make that possible. And with the SFM program, the more you buy, the more you learn. But as you’re about to find that, that is far from cheap.
How expensive can it get? Well here’s a breakdown of many of their memberships/courses:
- SFM Introductory: $29.95 one time.
- SFM Essential: $99 enrollment fee + $97/month.
- SFM Elite: $2,500 one time, but requires you be an Essential member first.
Considering you go all in here, you will get a lot of training, tools and value. But this is still actually the tip of the iceberg for the upsells and from here on in, if you wish to learn more to potentially earn more, you will have to go to the “next level” of SFM which is through a program called:
Digital Experts Academy (aka DEA, the next phase):
This is the next level program above SFM which and this is where things can get REALLY expensive (and a little bit confusing) depending on what source you read:
First is the direct DEA website itself, which has numerous program options (6 by my count) that teach you online business from numerous aspects. The pricing for them was not shown to me except for one called “All In” which is $99 one time, then $97 a month after. Every other program, you had to go through a specific email sign up, then sign up for another webinar. Long story short, I have no clue what the other prices are.
Then there’s the massive amounts of other Digital Expert Academy reviews out there which point to there being 4 levels to DEA and they are labeled as Silver, Gold, Platinum and Black and if you though the prices for SFM were large, the pricing for DEA ranges from $2,500 all the way up to $20,000. For sources on this, here is 1, and then another here, and another here (there’s more, but these 3 all say the same things about these prices).
I’m not sure what to believe here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Digital Experts Academy ended up being very expensive given how SFM’s pricing quickly grew through it’s membership. I just wish DEA would be much more open to showing this information because this makes me a little uneasy…
Pros:
- I think there is good value in the SFM/DEA program if you elect to pay the high costs.
- There are success stories.
- SFM has been in business for many years.
Cons:
- The pricing for both SFM/DEA is extremely high in my opinion.
- I think there is equal/better value for MUCH less in programs like Wealthy Affiliate.
- Trustpilot ratings for Six Figure Mentors are mixed (3.5 out of 5). Draw your own conclusions.
- My experiences with SFM back in the day were not very positive (more on this later).
- I honestly don’t think you need to pay so much to learn how to succeed at making money online!
- My experiences with SFM’s support weren’t that high either (I’d give it 1 out of 5).
- In my opinion there are many other programs that are better alternatives to SFM (and cost way less), the best of which is Wealthy Affiliate.
My final thoughts on Six Figure Mentors:
Many years ago, SFM had a free membership, which I joined to see what it was about. Long story short, the membership was a combination of many mindset videos and talks about how much you can make online, and then it funneled you into going further with the program (buying their upsells and going into the Digital Experts Academy). I didn’t like that experience and even though it was free, it was still a poor experience in my opinion. I also had a hard time contacting them.
Now SFM is no longer available to try for free, and thus far I don’t see much change/improvement over what I saw/heard from it before.
Do I think it’s a scam? I don’t think so. Can it help you succeed online? I think so.
But there’s a lot of speculation regarding those topics. The 2 bottom lines at the end of the day in my opinion are this:
- It’s VERY expensive if you go all the way ($10,000+).
- I still say you can learn this stuff about making money online in equal/greater value from WAY LESS expensive programs! In fact, I am proof of that since I did that, and here’s how:
Alternatives? Yep! Why the Wealthy Affiliate program is my top choice:
Wealthy Affiliate is similar to SFM in that it teaches people to also make money online in various ways.
But what it mainly teaches people is to build profitable affiliate websites on passions they have in life and drive free traffic to them (no paid ad risks involved).
They do also have advanced courses too on things like paid ads, local marketing, YouTube, email marketing and MUCH more.
Here’s why it’s better than Six Figure Mentors in my opinion:
- It’s free to test drive (no CC needed).
- It’s more beginner friendly.
- Better on YOUR wallet ($0 to try, then $49/month).
- It teaches multiple ways to do affiliate marketing.
- It has more success stories than Six Figure Mentors.
- Way better reviews on Truspilot (4.9 out of 5 stars).
- You get the best support including expert coaching.
- And there’s much more.
Bottom line: You don’t have to invest crazy money with Wealthy Affiliate (or in general to succeed online).
It’s free to test drive and only $49/month if you decide to stick around the program. There is also an optional $99/month option.
Here’s a side by side comparison of Wealthy Affiliate vs Six Figure Mentors:
My recommendation? Wealthy Affiliate (here’s how to get started):
The value of the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) speaks for itself and if you have any doubt (which is totally normal), test drive them risk free (there’s literally no credit card required).
Here’s what you get when you try the program today (all included):
- Access to the Starter Membership of Wealthy Affiliate.
- 10 lesson getting started course.
- 1 website included.
- 7 day access to the WA community (help/support).
- 7 days coaching from me, Vitaliy (one of WA’s top experts).
- And much more (join WA today and see it all for yourself).
The program does have an optional upgrade called Premium after the Starter Membership that I do highly recommend, but more than that, I recommend you first:
- Try the Starter Membership (it’s risk free).
- Immerse yourself in the program so you get the most out of it.
- Use my 7 day coaching! You can contact me directly inside WA.
Wealthy Affiliate works, but it is also not a get rich quick scheme.
It will teach you how to build a REAL online business of your dreams and if you apply the training they have and work hard, you will become one of it’s MANY success stories.
And frankly speaking, I want to see you do just that. As your coach, one of my goals is to see just hat and I’ll help you along your journey there too).
